Actually it is said that 24 Jain Tirthankars attained Nirvana at this place. Temples have also been built on the hill for all those 24 Jain Tirthankaras after attaining salvation. For each Tirthankara, one temple (called Gumti or Tuk) is built. The highest peak of this hill is 1350 meters high. Many of the temples present here are such that are famous for their mythology.
